WhistlePig Library Series Volume 3 Has Arrived

We are proud to introduce the third release in our exclusive 5-volume WhistlePig Library Series:
“Missiassik”.

This 14-year-old rye whiskey is part of a rare collection of individually selected casks, each named after a place connected to the distillery in rural Vermont. Every release carries its own character, aromas and strength, while showcasing the unmistakable WhistlePig style.

Selected under the supervision of the late Dave Pickerell, these exceptional casks reflect the vision of one of the most influential names in modern American whiskey and a man who helped shape the premium rye category as we know it today.

Bottled at 56.3%, “Missiassik” is a bold and complex single cask release that continues to show just how exceptional rye whiskey can be.

On the nose expect rich butter and spicy gingerbread, with marzipan, toffee apple, soft grassy notes, sweet pastries and warming rye spice.
The palate is full-bodied and rich, layered with white chocolate, vanilla pod and cookie dough, balanced by fresher garden herbs.
The finish lingers with roasted fennel, creamy oak and rum and raisin ice cream.
