This 21-year-old single malt release from the Beast of Dufftown, Mortlach Distillery, is a terrific Speyside bottling. Sweet, smooth and meaty, it was matured in Pedro Ximenez and oloroso sherry-seasoned casks to produce a well-balanced and flavour-packed release.

Bottled at a cask strength of 56.9%, this was one of the stars of the 2020 Diageo Special Releases collection. On the nose you can expect lots of dark fruits and citrus followed by a full-bodied mouthfeel on the palate with lots of dark chocolate, pepper, spice and vanilla sweetness combined. 

A rich yet gentle and superbly matured Mortlach bottling.
