Midleton Very Rare 2026 is here.

One of Irish whiskey’s most anticipated annual releases has arrived.

Now in its 43rd annual vintage, Midleton Very Rare 2026 is the latest chapter in one of Ireland’s most collectible whiskey series, crafted by Master Distiller Kevin O’Gorman. This year’s release is built from five distinct distillate styles — three single pot still and two single grain — giving it signature Midleton elegance with a character of its own. What makes the 2026 vintage especially appealing is its balance. This year’s composition gives extra lift to the citrus and floral notes, while a slightly stronger contribution from Midleton’s signature grain whiskey adds sweetness, depth and finesse.

On the nose: expect orange peel, lemon zest, soft apricot and orchard fruits, followed by crème brûlée and toffee.
On the palate: the fruit carries into vanilla, oak tannins and smooth pot still spice, before a long, elegant finish with wood spice and candied orange.

For some, this is a bottle to open. For others, it is a bottle to keep. Either way, the new vintage has landed — and it never stays around for long.

Limited to two bottles per person.
