Finding the bottles to fill the shelves of the Single Malt shop is a difficult job, but someone has to do it. Here, Glen Melia, recalls some of his favourite Irish pours and events of the year

As Sourcing Manager for the Single Malt Shop, Glen Melia spends considerable time selecting bottles for our Irish collection. Between product launches, marketing campaigns and chance discoveries, he gets to meet the people and products that drive the Irish whiskey industry.
