Smooth and full-bodied, this excellent single malt is the most awarded release from the famed Highland Park Distillery in the Orkney Islands. Its 18 years in oak have created a wonderful golden caramel colour that evokes the quality of the elegant whisky within.
Bottled at 43%, this gently peated pour comes packed with warming layers of flavour, evoking baked cherries, dark chocolate and salted honeycomb on the palate. There’s a touch of orange zest here, too, all wrapped up in this Scottish stalwart's trademark heathered peat smoke. It is a truly decadent and enjoyable pour.
