Nikka From the Barrel was first released in 1985 and it’s the result of a blend of more than 100 malt and grain whiskies. It was a labour of love for the Japanese whisky maker to arrive at a flavour and ABV profile they were satisfied with, and their fans followed suit. It’s a rich and flavour-packed whisky that comes loaded with history and influence.
A 100-blend release is pretty rare at any time, but the demands on whisky producers today prevent most from enjoying the luxury of such a creation. A Japanese whisky fan will love to have this in their collection. Bottled at 51.4%.
