Mannochmore 12 is a welcome addition to Diageo’s Flora & Fauna collection. We rarely get to taste the wares of this Speyside distillery as it works so hard for its parent company in the production of blends. But this single malt shows just what could be possible if the brand was unleashed. 

Suitably floral on the nose and with a gentle sweetness on the palate, this is a wonderfully smooth, and easy-drinking single malt. It offers lots of herbal notes beneath the vanilla and light fruit layers of the malt. Bottled at 43%, it’s a comforting dram that is designed to stand out from Speyside’s louder and more dominant releases.
