This superbly-aged single malt from Glenallachie is testament to Billy Walker’s mastery of the art of maturation. After almost two decades in oak, it’s a rich and elegant pour, bursting with notes of marzipan, cinnamon, sultanas, dark chocolate and honey.

The Speysider began life in ex-bourbon before being finished in both sherry and virgin oak casks.

Glenallachie’s expert cask selection was designed to drive the deep, dark fruit and sugar-sweet profile of the sherry casks while also boosting its spice and vanilla layers with the new oak. A wonderful winter warmer, bottled at 46%.
