This annual release from Walsh Whiskey is a huge fan favourite from the Irish whiskey maker. A marriage of single pot still and single malt, it’s pitched in the super-premium category.

Limited in number, this 2022 release is the 12^th edition and is entirely matured in American ex-bourbon and bottled at 54.2%.

On the nose, you can expect a heady aroma of butterscotch, ginger and dark sugar. The palate comes packed with layers of pastry, vanilla, chocolate and oak spice. 

A drop of water opens the palate further, revealing a long and complex finish. This is a wonderful triple-distilled Irish whiskey.
